I’m like halfway a plotter, halfway a pantser. A potter?  Who knows.  The writing muse is mysterious.  Tess Gerritsen, one of my favorite authors ever, totally makes it up as she goes along. Jeffery Deaver, another of my favorite authors, spends SIX MONTHS plotting his novels before he starts writing.    Every time I think I have it all figured out, I start writing and new characters pop into my head and demand that I pay attention to them, new plot twists happen, and I am like Little Red Riding Hood – I stray from the path.

All right, back to writing.   I’m hanging on to a galloping horse and seeing where it takes me.
